I was tagged by Shawn Knight, Natron, Bobs and 2Perfect, thanks for thinking of me guys! Here are some fun facts about me that you can share with your grandma.
This Is How It Works:
- Each player must post these rules first.
- Each player starts with eight random facts/habits about themselves.
- People who are tagged need to write their own blog about their eight things and post these rules.
- At the end of your blog, you need to choose eight people to get tagged and list their names.
- Don’t forget to leave them a comment telling them they’re tagged, and to read your blog.
Because Saman=Best, These Are The Facts You Need To Know:
- I am a proud father of two beautiful girls!
- Believe it or not, I have been fired from every job that I have ever worked!
- I was born in Iran and moved to the States when I was 6 months old.
- My GPA in high school was a 1.7, in college it was a 3.6 (high school was all about girls and parting).
- I used to be a speed demon, and I almost killed 11 of my friends while racing my car – luckily, I knew all about counter steering and no one was hurt (except for my car - $12,000 worth of damage on a two month old car).
- Right out of college, I was directing video at a concert venue and have worked for many headline acts: LL Cool J, Lilith Fair, Metallica, Yes and Shania Twain to name a few.
- I have attended (not worked) 50+ concerts, and have see 311 eleven times – I love music!!
- Today, the 4th of July, is my wedding anniversary – the entire nation throws us a party!
“Mrs. Danielle” - since when?
Happy Anniversary Saman!
Interesting tag Saman!
What did you get the sack for?
What was the car and how fast was the car going?
Jez
The best “firing” story that I have (and this is 100% true) I was caught, by the owner of the company, having sex with another employee’s fiancée on the leather couch in the conference room.
As for the racing, it was my brand new 2000 Civic SI. I was doing 80 on the wrong side of the road (there were three cars and only two lanes), I tried to pass and hit a median, blew the front driver’s tire and broke the rear axle, swerved in front of the other cars but managed to steer clear of them and ended up in a ditch. Again, no one was hurt - but we got very lucky…
Saman…reminder…once you put things on the Internet, they never go away! lol!
You will have to remind me what employer you had at that time. I did not know (or at least remember) that story.
I’m very glad I was not involved at all that night of the car wreck - I must have been working…
I won’t post the names of the people involved, but Orange can tell you more…
The car wreck was crazy - We had everyone leave since they were all drinking, but Doug stayed with me - through the road side sobriety tests through the tow truck. Makes me want to cry!
Haha, nicely done on the firing!!! Was she worth it?
Not really…
I remembered shortly after - all the people involved. I remember a situation close to what you described, but for whatever reason, I forgot that you worked together with that girl’s fiancée. So it wasn’t clicking.
This was that whole situation right before you moved back to California…correct?
Yep, just about about one or two months before!
worse comes to worst, you can’t get fired from blogging for money
“high school was all about girls and parting”
Man I wish I learned that earlier… lol. Grade 10 and 11 for me was all about studies… then grade 12 I realize no one looks at your high school mark as long as you get in to univ/college
oh and happy independence day/anniversary to you and your wife!
You’re like the 5th person to tag me on this one
I guess I better do something about this this week.
Saman you must be very good at job interviews, since you are still able to get jobs, despite being fired from the previous ones!!!
Very happy wedding anniversary. At least you will never be able to forget the date!
Lol I didn’t even see it that way. You must be one optimistic person! =D
Somehow Technorati gave me a link to this post. Thanks Saman!
Congratulations on your anniversary. And being fired from a job isn’t necessarily a bad thing. It’s just another way to step toward new opportunities.
thanks for the love man!.. I won’t disappoint!
Crazy stories man! I wonder, how did you even get into college with such a low GPA? My school required a 2.5 minimum…
My grades didn’t really matter as long as I could pay for the tuition - the power of greed!
Thanks for the tag. I am kinda memed out, but will probably have to do this since you asked. Just may put it on a blog that needs some juice.
Will do this the beginning of the week. Thanks for the p-link in such good company. Off topic, but have you seen the John Cow Dot Com parody?
It really is funny.
I have seen that - he actually registered on my forums!
OK Saman, here is my post for this:

That’s ‘eh’ you silly American
Not if Russell’s a pirate!
