Samana - WH?!?
The nickname Samanathon was given to me by my good friend Bobs. It’s a take on my real name, Saman, which is pronounced: Some-on.
So Samanathon would be pronounced: Some-on-a-thon. It’s kind of like Toyotaton, but with less cars and more me. 
About Me
Above all else, I am a devoted family man. I am happily married to my gorgeous best friend and we have two beautiful daughters. For privacy, I’ll leave it at that. If you want to know more, you can contact me.
Training
By trade, I am a Production Technician. I have a degree in Digital, Non-linear Post Production. Translation: I’m a Video Editor - this was before anyone could edit video on any last-gen computer! I have directed video (I-Mag) for many concerts, ran audio in many applications, designed many lighting setups and much more. Basically, if it involves any aspect of production I can do it. Video/Audio/Lighting/Rigging. Pre/Production/Post.
Hobbies
I have had a computer in my house since I can remember, and I was the only one in my house who used it. I do have some training, but most of my knowledge comes from playing around. I have had to re-image my machines a few times!! I love playing in the registry and hacking the hell out of whatever I can!

Scope
I originally planned this site to be a meeting place for my family, but it quickly became a place for me to share my knowledge on computer tricks and hacks.
