Painless Wireless Networking On Linux

Getting a wireless network to work on Linux has always been a joke, but it seems there is some hope: Enter NetworkManager.
I haven’t tried it, but this applet seems like it brings wireless networking for Linux into the present - just like every modern operating system!

Check out this video. It’s from Virgin America and details “Red”, their In-Flight Entertainment System. The coolest things about it: It’s a three Linux based file servers per aircraft and you can play Doom in the air!
