I just found a free website that will allow you to download YouTube or any FLV videos – the best thing about it is that the site is that it will automatically convert the videos to one of five popular formats before you download them!
Here are the formats and CoDec’s that vixy.net can convert the videos into:
- AVI for Windows (DIVX+MP3)
- MOV for Mac (MPEG4 + MP3)
- MP4 for iPod/PSP (MPEG4 + AAC)
- 3GP for Mobile (MPEG4 + AAC)
- MP3 (Audio Only)
It think it’s great that you can convert videos for your iPod, Cell Phone and PSP – now you can enjoy crazy Japanese Videos where ever you go!

Wonderful! I hated how the other download-clients left them as flv, which not very many players can play. This is great! Specially for those videos that you know will get taken down quickly.
On another note, watching videos on an iPod is a bad idea. I tried watching a movie on my iPod and aside from looking nerdy and retarded at the same time, it drained battery life before getting through half of the movie
I’ll watch movies on my iPod every now and then, it’s not terrible…
But yeah, it does drain the battery pretty quickly.

Yah. It’s simply astounding that hard drive are as big as they are and we have no problems filling them up. I don’t know how many spindles of cds i have because I needed more space. The new TerraByte drives are looking better everyday.
