Well, the batch files you write are executed by the Command Prompt! I use the CP directly for quick one-line instructions!

The tool-tip plugin is <a href="http://www.webwork-studios.de/index.php/2007/01/04/ws-tooltips/" rel="nofollow">WS ToolTips</a>.

I don't think this is a domain name problem: http://www.samanathon.com is different then http://samanathon.com

Unfortunately, that is all I know!

Thats pretty cool, I never thought to mod the command prompt, didnt even know you could.

Personally I write batch in notepad, whats the benefit of using the prompt?

Also, I just noticed the mouse over on your link which brings up a nice blue box with the URL, is that a plug in or part of the template?

You have some nice toys plugged into this site, I put the print button on one of my blogs after seeing it here, there is also an e-mail plug in (by the same author I think) which Im hoping people may use to refer me....

I always forget to do this and will have to remember. Been doing a lot of Microsoft SharePoint work lately, which includes command line interaction, gets confusing for a windows guy to write command line prompts!

Not a big fan of smigrate and spadm for sharepoint :(

Sounds like we need to open up a Q/A forum here.

I also have questions, slightly off topic guys. If you guys ever visit my site, did you see the long list in 'Categories' on the right sidebar? WP2.0.7 didn't have those entra links for what I put in the left side bar such as Personal Link etc in the 'Categories' part.

Any pointer?

Thanks.

Hey this is pretty cool.

Hey Saman, I am having troubles with my cache or something. I am getting my old websites. IT only happens to some of my websites. It also only happens when I put www. in front of the domain.

I have done the ipconfig and flushed I have also cleared out my cache in my browser. I use firefox, mostly and IE7.
I have unplugged my modems and turned off my computers for a few minutes.

Normally it goes away and then comes back a week or so later.

It always defaults back to January 13th.. which is when I switched to another webhost.

Any clues?

The green characters on the black background reminded me the dumb terminals that were better than the punch card machine. :-)

I'm not using dos command prompt that much now but definitely I know where to find the info when I need it.

Thanks for the post. There were some options here that I had never bothered to explore but have now implemented for my use.

It's funny to see your window as I use the same black/green combo on my command prompt.
