Because Firefox is so awesome, we can have it delete our browsing history automatically when it closes - unlike Internet Explore, which does a partial deletion . . .
- On the tool bar, click Tools and then “Options…”
- Click the Privacy tab. In the “Private Data” section, check the “Always clean my private data when I close Firefox” button and click the “Settings” button

- Tick the “Browsing History” check box and any others you’d like to clean automatically

- Click Ok
Optional Confirmation
You can choose to have Firefox double check with you before it deletes these files, Under the “Privacy” Tab, in the “Private Data” section, check the “Ask me before clearing private data” button.

Internet Explorer 7
Learn how to Delete Internet Explorer 7’s Browsing History Automatically When It Closes.
This is one of the first thing’s I always do when I set up a new computer. I never take the chance of people going through my history!
I love firefox … we keep finding new things everyday!
Firefox in combo with Google is the best. I hate it when I have to go back to IE to read a website. It does not happen that much anymore, but I can never figure out why websites are not being optimized for Firefox.
Very true, I haven’t seen a IE only site in a long time! Luckily, webmasters realize that FF is very popular!
The same thing goes for email, too. I have migrated away from Outlook, and really am liking the online apps being offered in addition to the fact that Open Office keeps getting better.
I have been writing a lot about this. Heck, I can remember back when MicroSoft didn’t have that much interest in the Internet…how things change.
