As a huge Half-Life 2 fan, I had to share this! Ross Scott is the blogger over at Civil Protection who is creating HL2 Machinima movies! So far, he has created three movies using the Source SDK and they are great! Here is the first one:
Civil Protection: Friday
Ross has provied links to all three videos in both YouTube (low quality, streaming) and Windows Media (high quality, download) formats for you to enjoy! I’m definitely going to keep and eye on this site!!

Excellent. I love this game too. I never actually got around to finishing it yet though :(.
You ever play online with it? I never tried it.
I haven’t played Half-Life 2 online, but I have played a mod online: Goldeneye Source.
I’ve played single player, but I’m afraid I never had a *cough* valid enough copy to play online.
That video reminded me of one of the Austen Powers movies where they focus on the life of a henchman (was it Christian Slater?). Nobody ever thinks about the guards or the henchmen. Altogether it was really professional - I think his sound design was particularly good. Excellent effects and distance on the voices.
I agree, very professionally made, I’m impressed!
There was a Half-Life (1) expansion pack called Blue Shift where you played as one of the security guards!
[...] titles related to Saman Dance alone showed up. I simply pick this one for my cyber friend Saman Sadaghi. This was the great work of Indonesian Students in Sendai, Japan. Enjoy! WPvideo [...]
Wow … I’ve never got into gaming all that much, but that video’s great! I’m going to have to keep my eye out for more of those.
