How To Fix WordPress 2.1 Not Displaying Full Text In Feeds

What Are You Talking About?!

After I upgraded my WordPress install to v2.1, I notice that whenever I used the <!–more–> tag on the site, it would be used in my RSS feed as well! I am not a fan of this setup, I use the more tag because don’t want my front page to be a million miles long - but I do want my subscribers to get the full article.

The Fix

I don’t mind playing around in my theme’s PHP files to fix this but what happenes when I change themes? I have to search the net again to figure out how to fix this!! The smarter route would be to use a plugin and Ronald Heft, Jr over at cavemonkey50.com has created the Full Text Feed plugin to do just that!

Installation is super easy, just upload and activate! It works perfectly for me!!
