Funny enough I just had a similar problem. I tried using Google Blogsearch in firefox and got a 404 error. When I tried in IE it worked fine. I’m sure when I wake tomorrow, the problem will be resolved.
I think you must check both IE and FF tigether to find if that was a problem with FF
