I just wrote an article on how to disable the NOFOLLOW tag on your site and I got tagged because of it!
Jimi from Jimi Morrisonshead.com just added me to Colleen’s list! She is taking the I Follow Movement one step further. She has started the D List, and cybercelt from CoolAdzine for Marketers. It’s a complete list of all the blogs that use the dofollow plugin, and you can gain some great traffic, by joining the list, and commenting on these blogs. Links, links and more links. Join the Revolution.

- Write a short paragraph at the beginning of your post and link back to the blog that put you on the list in the paragraph. This isn’t a suggestion. You need to break up the duplicate content. Someone took the time to add you so the least you can do is give them an extra link back.
- Copy the list of originals below COMPLETELY and add it to your blog. If you would like a different keyword for your blog then change it when you do your post and it should pass to most blogs with that keyword.
- Take the adds from the blog that added you and place them in the “Originals” list.
- Add at least 1 new blog that you KNOW us using the DO FOLLOW plugin to the list in the “My Adds” section. (Add no more than
- Let the people you’ve added know, so that they can keep the list going!

This is great, and I am all for it, but do you think it will increase spam? I am guessing that is the whole reason for NO FOLLOW. I think I will change the links on my site and add a top commentators side bar to see if I can increase the comments.
As I wrote in my Say Goodbye To The NOFOLLOW Tag At Samanathon.com! article, there are a lot of plugins to combat spam – and Akismet users can tag comments as spam and the system will learn what to look for. I fell pretty safe!
I just noticed your content links, do you care do comment on how they perform vs adsense?
Well, I just added that system and it hasn’t really performed much yet. Also, I have made some changed to AdSense so I have to wait a little bit before I can really see improvements…
I’m going to try and get everyone on this list to subscribe to our RSS feeds too.
Should help a bit I would guess.
I am honored just to be nominated…
Now I have to find someone to add to the list. hmmm…
Y’know what I noticed, Saman? Y’know how most links and such usually have the…usual suspects? Me, you, Gary, Jon Lee…etc? I noticed that I don’t recognize the majority of the blogs on this list! There’s another evil Gary out there!
Very true Ed, I must make it a point to visit those sites!
woo hoo . . another TRAIN!
They’re awesome!! I was thinking that we should start calling you the Father of Linkback Lists since you’ve started so many!
Add me to your My Adds bro! So I can continue the list on my blog. The post is basically ready… just waiting for someone to add me to their list. I took the NOFOLLOW from my blog. It’s quite new and it’s more of a personal blog but I wouldn’t mind a little more traffic
Also, where do you suggest I look for blogs that took off the NOFOLLOW?
And yeah, trains are awesome…. hopefully they don’t become as annoying as chain e-mails where people are made to believe something will happen to them if they don’t keep it going
Done, you’re on the list!
As for finding more sites, I don’t really know. I guess I would suggest browsing some of sites that are linked here and viewing their comment sections, just like this blog, there are people who have removed theirs and posted about it!
CHEERS to the dofollower’s
Some ideas for the next train:
If your blog has a vowel in the url
If the owner of the blog breathes air
lol…maybe you have a point Bobs.
These link things have come at a bad time for me. My blog may be taking on a whole new dimension, with a new url –
I dofollow!
Cool, you’ve been added!
Has this been a success for you so far?
PS – Love some of the functions on the site!
It was, I have notice that traffic is slipping but that’s my fault – I haven’t been posted my usual posts lately – work is a bitch!
Tell me about it
Hi,
i am sure that google will come up with the algorithm to get a way out of this.
This is not going to be for long.
recently google also considered not following paid links, but came against it..
My blog now follows links. At first I thought nofollow was a good idea but I have changed my mind on that. After a long time procrastinating I have seen the importance of “dofollow” and making sure everything stays connected and links don’t get broken. I will follow comments on my blog, http://www.reallyreally.net I hope more people adopt these principals. Regards Bree.
Hey,
Do you think you could add my blog to the list – it’s no follow!
