G seems to be my go-to site for everything, too. I almost feel like not using them sometimes, just because I have lived my entire life going against the grain. I feel very conformist using Google for the whole kit and caboodle.

yes Yahoo! still controls the market. if you check the Alexa sources for Yahoo! 50% come from Yahoo! mail.

i love gmail too… are you sure Yahoo! still controls the market? very few of my friends use Yahoo! Mail as their primary e-mail and the ones that do live in Asia. But then again there are more Asians than North Americans…

yeah, google analytics is very detailed but currently i’m using statcounter. what makes statcounter different from google analytics is that you get very specific data of your last 500 visitors! ofcourse i’m using analytics as well.

hi saman, google is not perfect, in fact there are millions of people out that that are still not getting the search results they are getting thus google is tweaking is algorithm ‘everyday?’. i read this from the nytimes and it was cool.

Google analytics gives them a tremendous amount of detail about our spending habits. At the moment, people can of trust Google, but at the end of the day they are a profit making business - and a very successful one at that.

The people behind Google are really good. If you think about it, everyone probably does loads of searches, and the cool thing is, when you need something, the first result is usually good enough. And thinking back, you may notice some of your searches can have different meanings, yet the first result is still good enough… their too perfect alright…
