I have been enjoying this prank for years and thought it was time to get as much information out as I could so the world may enjoy this as much as I have!

Some Info
“You Kicked My Dog” (a.k.a. “Kick-Dog” & “Kerpal”) is a prank that came out in 1995 by an unknown prank caller. No one has officially taken credit, but The Jerky Boys are sometimes incorrectly given credit for it.
The Story
A man known as Abtar answers the telephone. Kerpal accuses Abtar’s daughter of kicking his dog. Abtar, the unsuspecting victim, seems to be of Punjabi/Pakistani origin because he asks his daughter in Punjabi: “Dog noo kick kita see?” (Did you kick the dog?).
After a few hilarious minutes of confusion, we find out that the daughter has no clue about kicking Kerpal’s dog, let alone who Kerpal is! The call turns into a shouting match between Kerpal and Apdar and is hilarious!
Flash Movies
As far as I can tell, three different Flash animations have been made to animate this prank. The original Kerpal animation, and generally most liked version, was created by Adam Letalik and was published by FlatPlanet.org in late 1999. Since File Planet has gone under, I’m hosting the Flash movie for You Kicked My Dog.
Soundboards
There are a lot of soundboards featuring clips from “You Kicked My Dog” around the Internet. A lot of other pranks have been made using these soundboards and many have been released as alternate versions.
Sequels
There are a lot of sequels on the ‘ol Net. One is a phone call between two Indian guys, one who calls himself is “Purpa”. Purpa needs to be picked up from the airport, but the call spirals down into another shouting match! Listen to the You Kicked My Dog Sequel.
Alternates
“You Ate My Dog” was created by Sami Khanjr from Windsor, Ontario Canada. The video has nothing to do with the prank, but because you can’t upload an audio file to YouTube, you see the kid walking around his bedroom.
In this one, a guy calls a Chinese restaurant and accuses the owners’ daughter of cooking his blind son’s guide dog! The daughter stunned by the accusations and argues with the prank caller for a total of seven minutes! She threatens to call the police to investigate the disappearance of the guide dog!!
