New Feature: Friday Grooves

Written by Saman Sadeghi on February 21, 2007 Add comments

It’s time for a new feature here at Samanathon.com and I’m calling it Friday Grooves (because Music Monday isn’t very original). I am a huge audiophile and I thought I would share my thoughts on my massive music collection with you all. Each Friday I will review an album out of my collection, some might be classics and some might be new releases. I listen to anything and everything and my collection ranges from electronica to hip hop to rock and even some country (waits for rocks to pelt head…) – while this doesn’t really make me an expert, I do know what I like and I know what I’m talking about (I guess that really does make me an expert ;) ). I do listen to some mainstream stuff, but I prefer those hidden gems – music you wont hear on your local Clear Channel station, tracks you have to search out! I love remixes and mash-ups (which makes sense: I love customizing and hacking, changing and personalizing things). You can check out the last ten tracks I listened to (this page is updated automatically through iTunes).

So keep an eye open this and every Friday for coverage of some great music! If you are jonesing for something now, check out my coverage of the Grey Album.
