Well, it happened today: I am a published photographer! The Co-Owner of NowPublic, Michael Tippett, has used one of my pictures in is article! He found one of my Flickr photos and liked it enough - I guess!
w00t ME!
Check out the story.
Photo Info
I took this picture with my camera phone, a LG 8100 - I didn’t have a real camera with me! I saw this kiosk and wanted a picture of it (point, click, upload, title, organize - all done from the phone!). I took the picture at McCormick Place, the Chicago convention center and the picture was taken at 1280×960.
I am surprised he didn’t mention your photo as being yours in his blog.
Are all photos on Flickr up for the taking?
Thanks Jay
Well, not really. As a Flickr user, you can decide who has access to your photos, as well as how they are used.
Mr. Tippett emailed me and asked for my permission. If you rollover the image, you can see my credit.
That is awesome! I had some photos used in 2 different camera stores. That was also fun.
