I found this crazy video on Shamus Young’s site, Twenty Sided. The video is titled “Bowling+Rollercoaster=Fun“. In it, Shamus creates a park consisting of a single boardwalk and an uncompleted roller coaster. He sits back and waits for the park to fill up and then lets the casualties pile up - it sounds kinda morbid, but it’s amazingly entertaining! It’s just like creating a tornado in Sim Earth . . .
I still get excited as the coaster climbs to the top!

I never played the roller coaster tycoon games, but it looks very similar to Theme Park that was released for the Playstation several years ago. Ahh, the memories from that game…

OMG, that’s one of the funniest videos I’ve seen in a long time. I used to enjoy playing Roller Coaster Tycoon, but I never got as far as the version that gives you the coaster’s perspective. That’s seriously sick.
Seeing it from the coaster rider’s perspective is awesome!!

i love how they allowed the possibility of running a roller coaster on an unfinished track =P bet they didn’t see this coming… ahaha….
i’ve never played that game… i don’t imagine it being that successful in today’s gaming market =/ if they released a new sim city i wonder how big of a buzz it will make… lol…
