The Grey Album
I was talking to a buddy the other day about this and he had never heard about it and I thought I should spread the word about this amazing album.
I first heard The Grey Album album back in 2005 and I fell in love right away! In fact, it still enjoys regular play on my iPod.
What Is It?
The Grey Album is a mashup created by Danger Mouse - who has gone on to work with MF Doom (for all of the great [adult swim] remixes) and most recently, Gnarls Barkley. Danger Mouse took all of the vocals from Jay-Z’s The Black Album and a ton of samples from the Beatles White Album and mixed them together - remember, this isn’t just a simple remix album, he truly has created new songs using instrumentals and samples!

The only problem with this album is that it’s a mashup, and by nature, illegal. The samples were unauthorized! Other then it being against the law, there is no problem with it! 
It really is an amazing album and I absolutely recommend to everyone! I am not a huge Jay-Z fan - or a huge Beatles fan for that matter, but this is one of my favorite all time albums!
