I’m in currently Toronto and I think it’s very “blah”. I really haven’t been around town too much – just downtown mainly and it looks like any other major metro city anywhere in the world. Tall buildings. Lots of people. Lots of cars. Generic restaurants. And, when you consider all of the trouble I had just trying to get into the country:

  • First flight: 4 hours late
  • Bags stuck in Customs
  • Canadian Immigration didn’t believe my reason for entering their country
  • Wearing the same clothes two days in a row

Montreal, on the other hand, was awesome! I had a blast there!! Not only is it completely French, but the city had real culture. Even US cities like New Orleans and Washington D.C. are overloading with culture – even though they are metros . . .
