View Samanathon.com From A Command Line Interface

I have installed a pretty geeky theme that lets you view and navigate this site as a Command Line Interface (CLI) - I haven’t activated it because I know it will scare a lot of people away, but you can try it by clicking the link below.
WARNING
Clicking the link will change how your browser views my site! You will need to copy this shortcut in order to return to normal! When you’re done playing with the CLI, just paste this URL into your address bar and all will be normal!
Try The CLI
Click this link to view Samanathon.com with a Command Line Interface!
Tips
- If you see this text in the lower left of the screen:
--More--Just hit the spacebar to scroll. - You can still use the mouse to click links - but where’s the fun in that?!

- Have fun!
The theme is CLI2.3 by Rod McFarland

That is great if you like a site design to keep people from using it
It really is ultra geeky!
Too funny Natron. My sentiments exactly.
I love this new version, it has some cool featutures I like, i.e the image processing.
I don’t think I will switch back to the old one
The only real setback that I can see it that you can’t view comments!
Just type “comments” to view them, and “comment” to leave a new one
Oh My God *_* it supports the “ls | grep text” code!
wow that’s intense lol. Except I highly doubt anyone would keep reading a website with that theme installed
Perfect for Saman and his love for command line.
I bet there is some interesting code to run that design…
I really do love the command line!
WoW.. that was pretty cool.. but i forgot to copy the links so I was stuck in the prompt world for a while.. hehe..
That’s why I wrote the link twice!!!!
I know.. like a dumb ass i thought i did.. but when i went to paste.. i found something that wasn’t your link
That doesnt like my safari…
Surely that’s against the law??
I don’t know about this one. I am afraid if I invoke the interface, I won’t be able to get back to this template.
it is not working for me
i dont know why
If it’s anything like the Pine/Lynx terminals I used to use at university back in 2000-2003 (they were supposed to be for catalogue access only, but they’d left a full unix shell in place :), then the site should be fairly usable using this, and maybe a bit easier to read as it’s a nice amber-on-black scheme and devoid of distracting formatting or graphics!
I’d keep reading it, regardless of some of the other comments… I got through a hell of a lot of email and simple web searching on those old greenscreen VT220s in the open access area, beat the hell out of waiting ages to get a time-limited place on a nasty, noisy, overloaded P150 (or less!) with a flickery cheap-ass CRT in a horrible stuffy room. Course, your plugin doesn’t recreate all those benefits, but it’s not actually THAT hard to read or obstructive of content once you learn the commands! Nice work.
