Plus some of the "patches" force us to go to a new product (IE7). Even after one downloads the "OS7 blocker", it did not work forever. I use both MS and Mac, and it seems like Mac has less hastles. Oh, and if I was a gear-head, I have heard that Linux can run just fine on old hardware - seems to be a more efficient OS. As for Vista, I can personally say that it feels more like a Service Pack for XP then a separate OS - and I see no reason to upgrade and, if I was buying a new computer, I might think about getting XP on it and not Vista as it's such a resource hog...
